Scout Tzofiya Bolton is a broadcaster, radio producer, poet and essayist whose work explores the immersive possibilities of storytelling across page, stage, and sound. Drawn to the transformative nature of the creative process, Scout approaches each project by stepping fully into its world, seeking to uncover new perspectives and breathe fresh life into every narrative.

The author of four full collections, their fifth, The Homilies alongside work on a sixth poetry collection will be published by Broken Sleep Books in January and is currently being adapted for the stage. Originally studying music theory and composition, Scout spent several years as a signed singer-songwriter before turning increasingly towards literature and audio. Alongside work on a seventh poetry collection, Scout is also writing a debut novel.

Although relatively new to audio, Scout has quickly established a distinctive voice within the industry. In 2025, they received the Audio Production Award for Best New Voice and the Gold ARIA for Best New Presenter. Their documentary The Ballad of Scout and the Alcohol Tag went on to win the Audio Production Award for Sound Design, the Gold ARIA for Creative Technical Innovation, and the Rose d’Or in the Audio category.

Today, Scout continues to bring a poet’s attention to rhythm, language, and detail into broadcasting and audio production, with a particular interest in outsider music, off-kilter comedy, untold stories, and experimental art.
