Katie-Louise Buxton

Katie-Louise Buxton (Katie-Lou) is a radio presenter, host, and music journalist with a naturally warm, friendly on-air style and a genuine love of connecting with people through music.

Currently heard on Shock Radio and Radio Alty, Katie-Louise brings thoughtfulness, curiosity, and calm confidence to every show she presents. Her journey into radio began through music and performance, having previously worked as a musician and actor. One of her most memorable moments was performing in a choir on stage with Sir Paul McCartney — an experience that sparked her passion for storytelling and the power of live sound.

Known for her calm, passionate, and approachable nature, Katie-Louise loves getting to the heart of the stories behind the songs and creating a space where listeners feel welcomed and heard. Her sincere and people-first approach has been recognised with industry awards, including Demo Factor Winner 2025 and Best Chart Programming at the 2025 Student Radio Awards.

At the core of everything she does is a strong belief in creativity, community, and the ability of radio to bring people together — one conversation at a time.

Away from the studio, Katie-Louise is most likely at a gig, watching films, or out exploring the outdoors. She’s happiest surrounded by great music, great stories, and the people who share her enthusiasm for both.

Jordan Arnold

Hailing from Northern Ireland and growing up immersed in musical theatre and modelling, entertaining has been second nature to Jordan since childhood. Prior to landing her dream job in radio, she regularly performed in Northern Ireland’s most prestigious theatres, hosted large events, fronted vlogs for large brands, modelled internationally and appeared on television multiple times.

She landed her job at Q Radio in 2019, beginning on the weekday Breakfast Show. After 2 years and working with various co-hosts, she graduated to her own, solo Afternoon Show which she still presents weekdays 1-4pm, along with the Sunday Breakfast Show. After her first year on air she bagged an IMRO Award in the category of Best Newcomer. With the top listening figures at Q Radio for the last 2 years and frequent engagements at roadshows and events, Jordan is very much a huge part of the station.

With a passion for female empowerment, Jordan hosts a weekly segment on her show called Girl Talk, where she interviews a different female guest every Thursday. Her engaging and down-to-earth approach to interviews always puts guests at ease, and over the past 3 years they have included the likes of Becky Hill, Katie Piper, Freya Ridings, Zara Larsson, Dame Prue Leith, Vogue Williams, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Katharine Ryan, to name a few. Not limited to female guests, outside of Girl Talk, she has also enjoyed chats with stars including Jason Derulo, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, James Blunt, Boyzlife, Blue and Michael Ball.

Outside of Q, Jordan frequently covers on HSBC Radio and Co-Op Radio, with whom she’s attended and covered events such as Reading Festival, Leeds Festival and Download Festival. Her voiceover work can be heard across the UK and the whole island of Ireland, both on radio and in stores such as Tesco, H&M, Superdrug, Holland and Barrett, B&Q and many more.

This year, Jordan started a new freelance role with BBC NI, learning a new skillset as a director and announcer in TV continuity. In front of the camera, Jordan was a panellist in season 2 of BBC’s Think Tank, with Bill Turnbull, and was on all 5 seasons of BBC’s The Ranganation. In the latter, she went by the moniker Small Town Girl and frequently had celebrity guests laughing along with her stories. Other TV appearances include a guest role in BBC NI’s The Paddy Raff Show and as a singer in the Emmy Award winning Music Of Northern Ireland on PBS. She even bagged a date with BBC Radio One’s Melvin O’Doom on a celebrity edition of Take Me Out in 2016!

With a solid social media following, Jordan has work on numerous ad campaigns with many big brands over the last 5 years- Bosch, Heineken, Domino’s Pizza, McDonalds, Harp and bperfect Cosmetics are just some past collaborators. The main aim of her content is to remain authentic and relatable with a humorous twist.

Her comedic skills have recently seen her taking to the stage of Belfast’s Grand Opera House, taking on the roles of Paulette in Legally Blonde and Madame Thenardier in the UK Amateur Premiere of Les Miserables, both to great acclaim.

Outside of radio, TV and theatre, Jordan writes a monthly lifestyle column for Local Women Magazine, for which she has been nominated as columnist of the year. Additionally, she frequently hosts events across the country, from awards shows to parades and corporate functions to charity balls.

She has been married to chef Ben for 2 years and they live together in East Belfast with their very spoiled cavapoo Bumbles. When not working, Jordan loves nothing more than downtime spent with the 2 of them, enjoying great food, wine, music and conversation.

Chelsey Ward

Chelsey Ward is a Radio Presenter and a host.

Currently, Chelsey co-presents the daily drive time show on BBC Local Radio across the Yorkshire region.

She’s featured on BBC Radio 1, as part of the Christmas take over and since then, was invited back to present Early Fridays.

Her passion for radio began in her living room, where she would create fake radio shows for her mum to listen to. Her strong-willed nature has led her to seek opportunities and create a career in broadcasting.

As soon as she could get herself behind a mic, she began presenting on her local hospital radio station in Worksop (up north) at the age of just 16. Chelsey is known for her high energy and humour. She thrives when building a connection with the audience as she understands the power of radio.

Happiest with mic in hand, she strives to leave her audience with a lasting smile. Chelsey has been annually invited to host events for large industry bodies. As a young woman with a working-class background, she is aware of how important representation is in big spaces.

Chelsey is never afraid to stand out and be different, and usually you’ll hear her before you see her.

Outside the studio, she’s probably struggling to pitch up a tent whilst camping or dancing at a festival. Chelsey has a love for adventure and apparently will try anything at least once.

Conor Knight

Conor is a regular presenter on BBC Radio 1, and has spent the last 18 months covering Radio 1 weekend breakfast, Early Breakfast and taking the reins of the Mid-morning show over Christmas.

His radio journey started on community radio back in 2017 where all he wanted to do was play the music he loved and talk about popstars being ridiculous.

In 2018 Conor began presenting mid-mornings on Radio Essex – where his tongue in cheek demeanour, love for music and popstar nonsense brought him a dedicated and growing band of listeners.

The pandemic saw Conor launch a comedy fact podcast called Baffled – which has charted in the in the UK Top 20 & US Top 40 – this has saw the likes of Paul Chowdry and Yvette Fielding drop by for a chat.

Conor feels equally at home in the studio as he does being out and about covering festivals such as Creamfields, CBBC’s Summer Social and the Brit Awards – where he gets to interview celebrities and musicians.
